Automatic Cover Tool is a JAVA program and so you need to have a installed Java Runtime Environment (one popular can be downloaded here). The application is desktop software and needs a graphical window environment like 'X Window System'.

The application is delivered as a set of platform specific archives. Extract the archive after downloading with a unpacker and run the executable. No more installation procedure is required.

A 32 Bit version of the software is not longer supported. Archived versions (for 32 Bit) can be taken from here.

The source code is available as a set of Eclipse projects in archive format and can be downloaded from the project site.
